A3000 external ide drive module.

Post by Ukwebb »

I have an A3000 which has one of Ian Stocks' ide internal mini modules fitted.
Is there such a thing as a neat ide module for the external module connector?
Ie the fits vertical against the back of the machine with an ide Dom and not sticking out 6inches out the back like a fullpodule would.
BBC Bs, Master 128s, Master Compact, and Electrons, and an A3000 with an ARM3 :)

Take IanS's or any other 16bit half-podule, replace the DIN connector with a straight one. Then it should sit parallel to the back of the machine. Would stick up above the level of the top of the case, but at least it's not sticking out backwards.

Sounds like a solution.
Next question... Does anyone have any 16 bit ide modules available, and straight din connectors?
