Google found this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TUTSIM
And it’s modern descendent https://www.20sim.com/overview/history/
And more details in this 1985 extract from the Journal of The Franklin Institute https://ris.utwente.nl/ws/portalfiles/p ... lation.pdf
Which leaves me none the wiser, to be honest.TUTSIM was an interactive simulation language for continuous dynamical systems. Input had to be given in block diagram form or in bond graph form. The lack of a graphical UI required inputs in textual form by entering commands and arguments. For simulation, fixed step integration methods were provided. Simulation results were displayed in a graphical form or numerically in tables.
