A very small increase again. Perhaps something larger next time. I agree with Venger, this is way too much luck to get through and it's so random that it's a bit disheartening and yet..... it's somewhat addictive, the game you hate to love and love to hate as it were......

You can use the shift key to fire too in this game. That's what I'm doing.

A little bit higher - don't think I can better this.

It's nice little game, bright and colourful and very noisy, but just too random really, shame.

Thank the 8-bit deities for that concession! Thought I was going to have to remap some emulator keys - although I can't say I really used up and down all that much.

Had this one BITD and always loved the noise, colour and the size of your craft.
Shame about the bugs and lack of variety, which doesn't give much incentive to try to get further. That said, the games are so brief that it definitely has that "just one more go" factor :)

Yes, it's that fourth wave, isn't it? Positron is much more dastardly there though, as you lose a life if the swarm reach the bottom of the screen!

Anyway, here's me: 12630

High Score Tables Updated for Season 22, Round Eight......

Well, this season seems to be the season of 'new' old games for me, some better than others. This one is really an unfair game but it's upside as some have mentioned is it's quick so you don't have to suffer long. It does also have a certain replay-ability on it's side as well. It's not a game you should necessarily think you'll get a high score due to strategy, it's more by good luck than anything. You can get a good score if you can hammer your fire key crazily fast and actually fluke out and hit the swirling balls. They are for sure your biggest nemesis in this game.

Our winner this round is ManiacMiner with a ridiculous score of over 50k. Congratulations on a great win ManiacMiner and a great score. =D> =D>

On a side note I'd like to thank all those who played this round. We had 12 playing this game this round so.....Thank you!!! It seems we are mostly averaging out at 11 so this participation is a bit above average.

As usual please check to ensure I've not missed anyone's scores because it's easy to miss things on this and I really don't want to do that for anyone's hard earned score.
