Post by dimebag »

Hi

I just received my RPC, and i like to know how to:

i have tryed 6 CDROM drives, they seem to be working, but when i try to access a fresh iso9660 disk, i have error like " bad parameters".... why ?

- How to transfert programs from my win 10 pc to the RPC with floppy ?

i can r/w 1.44 on both but filer seems to be altered and cannot be executes on the RPC.

The exact error message would help! Also, what version of RISC OS do you have? Later versions (4+) had better CD support IIRC.

Do not unzip the programs on Windows, it will lose the RO filetypes which means they won't run correctly. Transfer the zip across via floppy and unzip it on RO.

If you don't have an unzip program on the RPC, then get the self-extracting version of SparkPlug or SparkFS from here - https://www.davidpilling.com/wiki/index.php/SparkFS
