The Broadway Boogie, in MIDI

Post by marnanel »

I've been fooling around with converting the old "Broadway Boogie" demo to MIDI, using a script.

I don't pretend to be a proper musician, so there are probably many things I've missed-- but it sounds good to me so far. (In particular, I know the separation of the piano channel into left and right hands is imperfect.)

The version of BOOGIE that I'm working from doesn't have the author's name on it, but I seem to remember versions that do. Does anyone know? I want to credit them.

There's a copy in http://stairwaytohell.com/bbc/archive/t ... sics_B.zip

The accompanying text file says:
Title: Broadway Boogie and Classics
Publisher: Broadway Electronics
And now I've actually tried running it ...
The Broadway Boogie
By PAUL LAYZELL
Copyright Broadway Electronics 1983
The last momement always seemed (and still does) ever so slightly out of time with itself.
