Sorry for the very late reply, although baz mostly covered it.
ROUGOL is the RISC OS User Group Of London. Despite the name we do cover Beebs too, as that's where almost all of us started out. We would have more Beeb stuff, but it's difficult to get people to do a talk *hint hint* The group was formed shortly after Acorn had shut down which is why we weren't called the Acorn London User Group!
We hold a meeting on the 3rd Monday of every month (except December) in a private room above a pub next to Waterloo station. We also organise the London Show, which returns this year on Saturday 26th October at a venue out in Harrow. Hopefully we'll see you there!
For more info, follow the links in my sig, and have a look here for a list of previous meetings with some videos which will give you an idea of the sort of things we cover - https://rougol.jellybaby.net/meetings/previous.html
Given the age difference, I suggest we all name Cruxinc in our wills, then in about 20 years time he will have the world's biggest Acorn collection!
I plan on using my final years to build a human sized RIFA to facilitate my cremation.
Bryan.
