I am looking for any control software or documentation ideally control via the printer port or the user port

Thanks for the reply I have the usbornes robot book but will look at the others/ I was hoping to find a logo extension that controlled the much talked about floor turtle

I found the attached in a large collection previously shared.

They're all Control-IT related but have no further info on them.

PS I was hoping to find a logo extension that drew the turtle on screen and moved the floor turtle in response to logo commands

Anyone has the PDF of "Interfacing Projects for the BBC Micro", it seems that the link to the free PDF version has somehow expired. Would love to read through it :-)

Folk interested in control projects really should have a look at I2C - if you just Google say ‘I2C gadgets’, you will be presented with a plethora of fascinating and, importantly, cheap devices that are genuinely both fun and functional to play with for the hobbyist. In terms of control software, you can easily write simple BASIC programs employing the very friendly Beeb (and Elk and Master] I2C interface - have a read of the I2C thread here and download the software (for rom or SWR) plus manual from the thread here. Enjoy! :D
