Well there was I feeling great about finally breaking the 2000 barrier, and getting what I thought was a competitive score at 2600...

However it looks like everyone else has improved even further over the last week

Nggh, you're certainly right there. Just can't get past this damn level! Oh well, I still squeezed a few more points out of it.

I'll settle for 13th instead!

Upped it to 1800 and phase 4, and I think that'll do for me!

Stick this up your hoop, Elliot.
I reckon he could maybe still beat you, if still playing this!

Well folks,

Just could not get past the 4000 mark at all....hate modern keyboards after the Beeb one.....it has such a good tactile feel to it....after 30 years no less.

I think Swoop has now been swept out the door.....what a beast of a game....but I sort of started to like it in a twisted sort of way.....

After the level skipping practice of Moon Raider, I found this hard to persist with. Sorry for the late come-back... although I expect that Syd may be pleased with the resulting effect!

You are correctomundo on that one Richard....after getting through a few screens I observed the following:

Green - Single birds, few bombs
Blue - Double birds, relatively few bombs
Extra Life Here
Pink - Single birds, more bombs
Light Blue - Double birds, more bombs
Extra Life Here
Yellow - Single birds, even more bombs
Blue - Double birds, even more bombs
Extra Life Here
Pink - Single, fast bombs and lots of them

That's as far as I got when I was actually checking....I only got past the second set of Pink birds once when I got 4000 and I was too busy to be checking anything.....I seem to remember the light blue double birds came after the pink birds....but I didn't pick up an extra life because.....I bombed out!
