It's a curious board, I'd be interested in seeing the ROMs dumped before you repurpose them.

Thanks, no idea what it is, but can search MAME for any matches when they're dumped. I'd expect the contents to give us some kind of clue, must be some readable text in them somewhere.

Got round to checking the contents of the ICs on the cars, thus far all blank. Only tested a small sample so far however. If I find anything interesting / anything at all you'll be the second to know, unless someone reads the post before you...
