If you want to find out about writing games in BBC BASIC on RISC OS, then don't miss our first meeting of 2024. Exactly three years since his last visit, Tony Bartram of AMCOG will be coming along to the pub to talk us through the inspiration and development process of his forthcoming game, Escape to the Light. Tony has been creating a video blog about this on YouTube, but this is your chance to chat to Tony in person and ask all those burning questions.
Although the meeting will also be on Zoom, there is much more fun to be had in the pub as we will no doubt find time to have a play with some of the games Tony released last year, including Timerun, A-maze-ing, and 3D Turbo Boost.
Our venue is right next to Waterloo Station and there is parking directly outside. Directions here - https://rougol.jellybaby.net/venue.html
For any queries or to receive the Zoom link (same as previous months) contact us – https://rougol.jellybaby.net/contacts/
Bryan.
