Repton: The Lost Realms to be released at R3PLAY
From the R3PLAY Homepage:
As seen at the Acorn World shows, Repton: The Lost Realms is a long-lost sequel to the 1986 BBC Micro game, Repton 3.
The game originates from 1988 but the game code, graphics and level design have been completed during the past two years.
It will be released at R3PLAY for the BBC Micro on on 5.25" Floppy Disc by Retro Software with kind permission of Superior Interactive.
New Features:
* Bigger screens - 30x28 characters, instead of 28x24 in Repton 3
* Absorbalene Pills (Absorbency Capsules)
* Anti-clockwise Spirits
* Balloons
* Ice Crystals (Freeze Monsters)
* Multiple Time-Bombs
* Potentially twice as many monsters and transporters
* Music volume control (BBC Micro version only).
Repton: The Lost Realms was programmed by Paras Sidapara and Tom Walker with in-game graphics and cover art by Dave Jeffery and level design by Paras Sidapara, Matthew Atkinson, Richard Hanson, Michael S. Repton, Jonathan Parkin, Dave Jeffery, Andrew Weston and Peter Edwards.

Having been one of the testers on this game, I can say that anybody who likes the Repton games will love this new game. The new elements add to the experience to provide some excellent puzzles, and the graphics are nicely atmospheric.

Hi do you know if this has been made available as a ssd. downloadable file for the ModelB or BeebEM? I no longer have an original BBC in working order.

At present, you can request a .ssd image when you buy a physical copy of the game.
Later on, a CD-ROM version of the game in a jewel case with artwork will be available that contains a .ssd image for those that don't want to receive a cassette or 5.25"/3.5" disc.

I realise this is an old thread, but hoping for some help obtaining this.
I realise there's no physical copies available any more, but am happy to pay the full price for just an SSD, however I emailed retro software a few months back and didn't even get a response.
Is there any way to actually buy this game now? I don't even have a disk drive for my beeb (just a gotek) so a second hand physical copy isn't much use to me, even if there were any

Got it. Also it turns out Twitch actually have the foodbank for my home town in their list of supported charities, so if I can figure out how to get that set up before I stream the game tomorrow I'm gonna run it as a charity stream.
