Finally got the Manual for Movie Maker.
However the PDF is 9Mb at 200DPI.
I'll give it another go at 150DPI

What we did for another book might help: if you're scanning monochrome (black and white) text, and if you DON'T want high-resolution archive-quality scans, then use your scanner's "Text" setting (image bit-depth = 1). And 300 dpi. If there's too much "noise" in the scanned image, adjust the scanner's "Threshold" setting.

But if you're scanning in colour... you're on your own!

It's so great able to read this. :D It fills in all the gaps so much. I can remember the manual from all those years ago. One thing I couldn't work out was to do with Segments...also how to delete one frame from a cycle.

One thing I would love to be able to do is import a mode 7 screen into movie maker. I wonder how you can go about that.
Maybe a bod here can have a look............you can't load a mode 7 screen in so you would have to do it another way..........I did try once to look at a movie file an examine it but on my pc it just came out as gibberish.

Anyway it really is amazing to have this Marcus. Thank you ( and Lurkio ) for helping out here! I encourage everyone to have a go and do some little animations. It's a brilliant bit of software.

The manual download in this thread doesn't seem to work - has anyone else had a problem? Or can someone post another link?

It's working fine here - could the problem be with whatever PDF reader you're using?
