Thanks all for bringing along your equipment and sharing your stories and projects.

More photos of the event will be posted in this thread, kindly taken by Richard Keeble.

We will reconvene in January 2024.

Much enjoyment had last night guys albeit I couldn't logon to the House Wifi.
Great to have a chat with you all , hopefully will speak to a good few more folks
at the next one.

I created a page to celebrate the event on the Night Owl Host (which you should have been able to eyeball
last night unfortunately) . I'll boot up the Host again tonight if anyone want to have a butchers , some updates
in the Blog also on the event. Host should be up around 8pm.

cheers everyone

well done Paul.

Brian

This was a shame. I do miss the teenage BBS sessions. Your phone bill story was "familiar!"

Many more photos from the evening on a slider at my https://retrorendezvous.org/ website.

Most of these were taken by Richard Keeble who took some great close up photography of the machines and goings on at the event.

Private message me if you'd like any image removed.

Excellent evening, but where did the time go! I was still unpacking when everyone else was packing up!!! Sorry I never got the chance to talk to everyone but hopefully will get a bit more time at the next meet. And hopefully the turtle will also make another appearance. I really wanted to see that in action, but just ran out of time.

Reiterating what others have already said, many thanks to @Tosk for organising =D> =D> =D>.

Oh, and some good photos there, too.

Great meet, again. Thanks to Tosk for organising and folks for help in my getting to and from. The Celler Troll - thanks again for the loan of your monitor. Chuckled at one of the (arty!! Woo!) photos of my machine - throwing up an error while I was away chatting to folk.... Like others have said, didn't get round everyone - next time !!

cheers Steven (Cellar Troll)

yes I reckon I wasn't the only kid who racked up a horror
phone bill in the 80's. Thankfully my old mum didn't make me pay it back
or disown me. Was never allowed to forget it lol , understandably.

Night Owl host is up now if anyone wants a look.

How did I miss the DS emulating RISC OS?!

Great pictures! I was totally unaware that I was being recorded trying to free up some RAM 😂

I’ll bring the Turtle back next time :)

Ooh, somebody else still have one? Here's mine. Unlike Clive, it is still going.
