North West Computer Museum - Grand Opening

Post by z0m8ied0g »

Hi,

The North West Computer Museum is having their grand opening on the 3rd June.

Our museum has been open since the soft opening back in January, several exhibit items such as the arcade are now in place since then and we have many more machines working for you to experience for our grand opening.
We will hopefully be able to provide an entertaining and interesting visit where you can play on 80+ machines, play in our mini arcade or relax with a coffee in our Café.

The museum is being opened by Professor Steve Furber, CBE (Acorn Computers) with guest visitor David John Pleasance (Commodore) and hopefully a few more recognisable faces.

If you are interested in attending then its on Saturday 3rd June - 10am - 4pm
Leigh Spinners Mill,
Floor 4,
Park Lane,
Leigh,
WN7 2LB

There are limited tickets available at the rate of £10 each available from...

Hope to see you there.

Is there a way to actually buy the tickets for £10? (rather than £11.55 with fee)

Hope people managed to get down and see the Museum and Professor Steve Furber who was kind enough to sign all of our BBC Micros in the classroom :)

But even if you missed it, please come on over to the NWCM in Leigh near Manchester and please spread the word.
