Hmmm...it's correct in the copy I have here, which is the same issue number and date as the Chris Whytehead scan. His scans are noted for many OCR errors unfortunately (e.g. the scanned document says the part number is 412,010 but it's really 412,019) although I can't easily see how the mistake on p51 could have been an OCR error:WrightStuff wrote: ↑Tue May 23, 2023 8:34 pm Also after a bit of head scratching recently I noticed the Econet Advanced User Guide seems to wrongly specifiy the control block for broadcast.

PiBridge does rebroadcast to all trunks/Econets except the source network - at least it’s intended to; something on Saturday made me think that was broken - will investigate. And yes, if you find it is doing something unintentionally non-Acorn, I shall fix it!!

Typical I should be looking at probably the only bad one on the net!
But looks like an OCR error on 412,010 as you mentioned, as description doesn't match table

Actually I don't think the "bad" one is from Chris's Acorns after all, I found it as a RTF with a separate read-me showing it came from the BBC Documentation Project (as the Retro Kit link actually suggests).

There are lots of interesting and fun ideas for future Econet projects here.
In the context of TMOC I wonder if there is any tension between trying to exhibit the history of computing (how things were) and featuring modern creations that build from historical resources, but didn't exist back in the day. Of course, both options might make sense in different situations.
From a historical exhibition point of view I like the idea of featuring different examples of period-correct software in the classroom.
