Does anyone have a copy of System SPY manual as a pdf please.

Unfortunately I don't have the manual for the spy rom, but the ADE plus manual does have the commands for the debugger and a quick check seems to suggest the the command options are the same between them.

Section 6 of the manual has details of SPY just as you said. I hadnt looked at ADE+ before and was pretty astonished how comprehensive it is. I always thought of compilers like C needing linkers to resolve external libraries and forwards refferences etc. ADE seems to be complete developer in machine code without the basic. I will have to rethink my approach now.

I came across beebmon, which seems spectacular but wont work on my master and Steve from IFEL pointed me towards Fingerprint. These all need the basic beeb available to call from.

I have another post where i asked if anyone could recommend a development environment and i think ADE fits the bill.

We (SJ Research) used ADE plus a few extra tools that we sold as the "SJ Programmers toolkit", including a "make", and a "grep".
