Archimedes Elite scanned manual?

Post by egrath »

Hi,

does anyone know if there is a scanned version of the archimedes version of Elite available anywhere? I haven't been able to find the one published by Hybrid, only the original ones from Acornsoft are available. Don't know if they even differ, though.

With kind regards,
Egon

My pleasure!

In fact, I've been meaning to get into a proper game of it. It runs a bit too fast to control comfortably with the mouse on my A3020, but I think someone mentioned a fix for that. But as it's regarded one of the best versions available, I'd like to get further in the game than just smashing into the side of the first station letterbox I come across.

Try my SpeedCtrl utility, that lets you pick any framerate you like : http://ian.jeffray.co.uk/riscos/
