Yeah it looks like a whole suite of applications, I haven't looked in to Quill Desk Plus (one does wonder if this is just marketing; or if there is a Quill Desk too). I also don't remember it from BITD, I wonder if it ever came to market...although the article reads as if it did.

It would be great to find this. It seems to have been advertised in Acorn User through the first half of 1987:
According to the advertiser's index, WCS stood for "West Cumbria Software".
