I have the original Magus cover which is pretty plain in comparison to the Robico inlay! I'll scan it so you can see.

Here is a scan of tape inlay for Village of Lost - note the rear of the inlay is blank. Also scan of cassette.

Wow, a real rarity! Thanks. Love the hand-drawn design.

Hi RonBate, many thanks, I've been monitoring ebay for over a year now and there's never been a sniff of a Magus game on there. Any other goodies amongst your Christmas decorations? A year seems a long time to wait for your next surprise... :D

There are a number of tapes in the roof - mostly Electron Adventure Club titles. I'll get them down and post a list.

Below is a list of all the original Beeb/Elk cassette tapes that I can find scattered around my roof space. All work on a Beeb. Please let me know if any scans of the covers/inlays are required.

I have decided to give the tapes away but it would be collection only from Bournemouth. I'm in no rush and will not throw anything away!

Thanks for offering to scan stuff.

American SUDS and SUDS would be good to have scanned, speaking off the top of my head.

You might want to check to see if you have anything else that's missing from EveryGameGoing.com too.

Very impressive topic this with lots and lots of contributions. Is there a de facto (if that's the right word) repository for these? It's nice to look at a tape inlay cover while I'm playing a game so I'd like a go-to webpage where I can find them all in one place. For example, Stairway to Hell has a Cover Scans page and its quite impressive but the images are little bigger than thumbnails (at least on my monitor). It's also far from complete. The game I'm playing at the moment, Addictive's Boffin 2 isn't there but the original Boffin is.
While I'm on this subject perhaps there should be a similar thing for game adverts, some of these were very glossy magazine ads eg Superior Software and Micro Power. Others were little more than small-ads but I suppose everyone had a budget to work to.

You can find some adverts in the Community Projects forum.

Hi All,
I thought I'd better print the current list of MIA game inlays that are still required (and not currently on Every Game Going or any other website I could find).

Note: I have been able to make some instructions from reviews and those games are marked with a *, but I would still like to see what the actual instructions said, or if they said anything at all.

3D Convoy - Doctor Soft
3D Tanx - Dk'tronics *
April Showers - Bevan (I believe inlay may not contain any info) *
Astro-Tracker - Beebug/Micro Mania *
Bozo and Beebo - BPsoft
Division One '85 - Qualsoft
Draughts - Computer Concepts
Forbidden Fruit - Voyager *
FSS Liberator - Nebulae
Megarok - Bug-Byte *
Minefield - Graphic Research
Pharaoh's Curse - H-soft
Polar Perils - Squirrelsoft *
Robotron - Silversoft
Rubik Cube - Computer Concepts
Secta Invaders - PSS (the long info from the separate sheet required)
Space Hawks - Computer Concepts
Space Intruders - Interceptor
The Saint - Oak-soft
and
Zombies - Micro Power (maybe an old white label only with no info on it)

Many thanks again to anyone who can help locate these inlays.
regards,
Mick.

I was just reading through the instructions for Knight Lore and found a few inconsistencies.
  • In "TO SAVE YOURSELF AND MAKE YOUR WELL", "YOUR" should be "YOU" (page 5)
And, although I can see your version is more consistent, if you want to match the printed instructions more exactly:
  • "guardians of 'KNIGHT LORE' castle" should not have quotes around KNIGHT LORE (page 7)
  • "find the old wizard" should have capital "W" (page 7)
  • "becomes forever a Werewulf" should have lower-case "w" (page 7)

Hi,
Thanks for spotting the errors.
I have sorted some of them using the big Black pull-out instructions from the original tape. However, they too had some words with capitals in one sentence and then without in another, so I have made them lower case in both.

thanks again.
