Wakefield RISCOS Show 2022 postponed and back on!

Heard that the WROCC Show for 2022 has been postponed.

It was to have been on 21 May but the venue has cancelled until September. Shame as I was looking forward to having a stall.

Crumbs! I only just knew it had been postponed from April, which I could have done, to May, which, I can't! September might be all right depending on the date.

WROCC are hoping to keep it on the same date (21st May) but in another location. If you know of anywhere suitable I'm sure they'd be happy to receive recommendations!

I've been rumbled. I'm on birthday waiting-on-hand-and-foot duty on 21st, postponed from mother's day when I conveniently contracted the coronavirus moments before the oven was due to go on. I suggested we could have a day out somewhere different, and completely at random thought of Bratford...and we could thereafter perhaps continue to Wakefield for a nice fish & chip lunch at the Kingfisher.

Mention of the jam roly poly on the pensioners' special didn't go down all that well. Mentioning that whilst in Bratford I could possibly pop into the Cedar Court for a couple of hours went down like a lead-free solder balloon. So I don't think I'm going to turning up...

Still wish I'd come in. I ended up doing a 200 mile show round trip to pick up a table that didn't quite fit so had to leave half of it behind!

Being diplomatic: Could have been better!

I still enjoyed the day - a larger hall which made the attendance seem a lot smaller than it would have been in Wakefield!

I never go with expectations - and alway forget to take those vital things Still plan to go next year . . .
