Is this colecovison title doable on beeb? Smurf rescue.

It has a flip screen transistion rather than continuous scrolling.

I remember playing this game on a Coleco emulator (possibly on my RiscPC)! I once thought about porting it to the Einstein as it's quite similar to the Coleco.

I think it would look pretty good as a mode 2 game on the Beeb as it has large, colourful graphics. The sprites are pretty big by Beeb standards but there aren't many of them.

Technically should be easy, but as RobC says, you will need to compromise a little, colours Vs resolution. There isn't really much game but I would change fire to jump and up+fire for big jump. You might also want to trim the screen, depending on how much space the animation takes up. (Again, what Rob said!). You could do it in BASIC with asm for sprites and tiles, no need to actually scroll.

Ok cool. One was unreleased. Also its a programming excersie . Tricky also coded games that were previously released. As he says he gets special treatment.

Although I am writing them ;)
I do try to stick to ones that didn't get a great Beeb port. Space Invaders and Pac Man didn't fit my rules, but had other reasons.

I had thought that Cybertron Mission was the same as Berzerk, but looking at that video I can see that there are quite a lot of differences. Similar though.
