Shouldn't be, as the code is the same for all OSes and CPUs - but I've never actually used anything that big in DIM.ScurvyGeek wrote: ↑Mon Mar 14, 2022 11:13 pm That's the thing Gerald - it won't open it. Is it too big? Is it related to the version of MacOS I'm using? The CPU Architecture?
I've only ever tested fixing broken directories on those I deliberately broke myself. I don't come across many of themScurvyGeek wrote: ↑Mon Mar 14, 2022 11:13 pm I created a new image - smaller - 1GB in size. Used it for a few bits and bobs, when I quit RPCEmu, it damages it. This, at least, will open in Disc Image Manager (only image I've had any success with). It displays that the root directory is broken, but seemingly can't fix it.
As Bryan has said, why bother using an HD image and not HostFS? I find HostFS perfectly adequate.
Cheers,
Gerald.
EDIT: As a matter of interest, and to improve DIM, can you send me your broken image?
