Weekday 'Virtual' General session #30, Tuesday 3rd August 2021, 7pm - 10pm (BST)

As a result of 5-week months, we find another General session rolling around towards us. Join at 7pm on zoom.

We can talk about things we bought, things we want, things we remember, things we've discovered, things we've learnt, things we've lost (but not things we've forgotten). Acorn-related things, mostly, but we can talk about other things too.

(Edit: I think we got 12 or thereabouts. As ever, I ran out of steam at half-nine but conversations were still going on.)

Hi Ed, the last Weekday Virtual meeting (Tuesday) was last week so shouldn't it be a Weeknight Dev session (Thursay) this week?
Normally it's a 2-weeks cycle ....

Ah, if only life were so simple! It's never (apparently) been an alternation, and the different lengths of months has always caused a (small) disturbance in the force. Here's Dave:

Hi the weekly schedule was always

• Saturday ABug
• Dev Night
• General Session
• Dev Night
• General Session

... then in months where there was an extra week before the Saturday event, we'd run another General session (this meant that the week before a Saturday event there wasn't a Dev night).

Even though the Saturday sessions are on hold, the weekly schedule is still based on the fact there is, or could be, a Saturday session.

Great! We've always had about 10 people or a bit more, although not always from the get-go. And I've usually run out of steam about half nine, but things have carried on.
