By moving the show into Bristol, it's now close to Bristol Temple Meads rail station (within walking distance) or a short bus ride, depending on the weather!

If anyone wants to setup some ABUG stands I'm sure the organisers would be very happy to have you along, and RobC and I would be glad of the company!

With only a week to go until the SW Show, one of the organisers has just posted this over on the RISC OS Open forum:

Because we are taking the two main rooms at the new SouthWest Show venue in Bristol, the hotel has offered us extra space this year at no extra cost, in a connecting suite.

As such, if there are any authors of pd/freeware software who’d like to have a table but were put off by the idea of paying for space, we can offer the extra space for the cost of entry fee (5ukp). If you have a good time, we’d suggest that an extra fiver to help the running costs, but if that’s a problem, the basic “fiver” cost will be enough.

We can’t offer to move existing exhibitors to this (unless they just want extra space) due to cost of room hire for the show as a whole, but if you’re someone who wasn’t planning to take a stand, perhaps this is an opportunity to show off your BASIC, C or perhaps website. Please let us know."

Reminder, the show is tomorrow!

A few of us are planning to attend this and bring some Beebs to showcase some modern upgrades and some not so modern peripherals. As Bryan has already said, it would be great to have some fellow Stardotters at the show.

We'll have a PiTubeDirects showing off various co-processors, RGB2HDMI giving Beeb video output in astounding quality and modern storage solutions. If you've got a Beeb and have any queries about any of the modern upgrades, we should be able to help.

There'll also be a couple of machines fitted with VideoNuLA and will be showing off my Amstrad CPC and ZX Spectrum emulators. If you've ever wanted to play Gryzor, SkoolDaze or Operation Wolf on the Beeb then come along!

We're also going to have some Valiant and Jessop turtles up and running using Logo.

Finally, I'm planning on bringing my Domesday system so if you've never seen one in action, this is your chance
