I recently got Red Moon and have been working through it. The problem is I can't get past the dragons at the end. Am I expected to fight them as it's late on in the game and I've already taken quite a whacking?

Sadly no, it's one of those games where the expected actions just isn't obvious - you're supposed to wave your fan. Obvious, not.
