cassettes investigation request

I originally thought all Acorn cassettes had sine waves starting at 0 degrees. Then I thought some start at 180 degrees. Then some were found to start at 90 and 270 degrees.<br>

Now it turns out that my amplifier applied at phase shift to 0 degree waves making them 90 degrees and 180 became 270 degrees. I changed my amplifier and that stopped.<br>

Does anyone want to try recording a bit from many cassettes via an amplifier with and without tone to help with my investigation into this? Posting some results here will do. The UEF spec. page at the Electrem site explains phase shifts.
