Yes, disc version only though, as found on my Micro Power Vol.2.

So, to update the problems that we have with disks 1 to 70:

**Having just removed "One last game" and "Aabatron"

Disk 007 Eagle Empire CRASHES
Disk 041 The Big K.O. has GRAPHICS PROBLEMS
Disk 060 Dunjunz CRASHES (file not found at line 515) (SWR Issues)
Disk 069 Hunchy FAULTY walks through walls
Disk 070 (plus 072 & 074) Holed Out - Graphics problems (SWR issues)

This list is now really really short!! Well done to all =D>

Latest spreadsheet:
BBC Disc And Tapes.zip
(191.21 KiB) Downloaded 202 times

Don't forget, The (D) on the menu means I have removed any game that requires *DTRAP to be set/unset when using a datacentre.

Plus, I have accepted that games such as "3D Space Raider" and "Round Ones" were released that way, and not with their original 'title screen' titles of "Space Ace" and "Spheroids". so they have been removed.

I think it is back to Dunjunz and Holed out then Richard :D

I would also like to get back to Eagle Empire - Col posted his test results in the Eagle Empire thread and found the game pretty much uncrashable ...

Not sure if this is of any interest (I'm trying to work out what this thread was about - it seems to be archived games not yet on disc?) ... but there is one of these for sale:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/like/BBC-Micr ... 1339776485

I'll be bidding for Zany Kong from the same eBay seller - I liked the game BITD but don't think I ever had the tape.

Hi,
I think this is a good time to bump this thread.
Mick Brown has now re-posted 100 discs. Well done =D>
There are a few games that do not seem to work properly but thankfully these are few and far between :D
See the post 3 or 4 above this one for a list of problems. There are a couple more (that work on b - em but not beebem) which I will collate in the morning.
It would be great to sort some of these out.
Which one should we start on? **and don't forget Sadim Castle Richard! :D

PS, Mick as well as "Caves of Trall" on disc077 being crap! there is a spelling mistake on the instructions. "curser keys" should be "cursor keys".
I think the game is finished - just terrible

Hi Lee,
Caves of Trail has been sorted. New disc will be posted in time.

Another game that has graphics problems is Fruit Machine by A. Crump on my disc 083.
It looks like the emulators don't like a couple of the vdu23 statements.
I cannot use my real beeb at the moment to confirm if it plays ok on real hardware.

regards,
Mick.

Hi Mick,
I have played fruit machine on the beeb and on beebem and it seems the same on both.
The only thing I can see that is wrong is maybe there is some corruption of the green symbol (bell?) and the black symbol (?) and also maybe the coin symbol as it is dropping winnings.
Is that what you were referring to?

Hi Lee,
Thats right.
I think there is something wrong with the vdu23 statements.
I would need to check against another copy.
It is a very rare game that I mamanged to rescue off a very old floppy form BITD and have not come across another copy myself yet.

Hi,
Renamed all discs in the Mick Brown collection to match the new naming scheme, e.g. Disc01, 02, 03 etc. Renamed Adventure discs 1-10 to Discs 91-100, Renamed DEMO discs to DiscA01-DiscA06.
Found a few errors, tidied up a bit.

P.S. Mick, on the latest Discs 105 and 106, is there any chance of changing the menu, to say:

Defender (Stephen Wade)
Invaders (MP)
Space Invaders (David McKeran)

Hi,
As everyone can see, Mick's collection has almost reached the point of being as perfect as it can be :D

There are just a handful of problems to get to the bottom of:

Disk 032 Ally Pally has GRAPHICS PROBLEMS - Corrupting datacentre workspace - should be fixable...
Disk 041 The Big K.O. has GRAPHICS PROBLEMS
Disk 060 Dunjunz CRASHES (file not found at line 515) (SWR Issues)
Disk 070 (plus 072 & 074) Holed Out - Graphics problems (SWR issues)
Disk 088 Quiz Quest - Does Not Load on a real beeb from Datacentre
Disk 103 Sparce Invaders - Sound problems on real beeb - fine on BeebEm FIXED!

And games with problems specific to Beebem:

Disk 025 Rig Attack FIXED!
Disk 027 Pharaoh's Curse FIXED!
Disk 034 FiretrackFIXED!
Disk 046 Alien From Outta Space FIXED!
Disk 049 Winter Wonderland FIXED!
Disk 073 Shapes Game
Disk xxx Operation Safras FIXED!
Could we start by looking at the one which I believe will be the easiest to sort out...FIXED!

"Sparce Invaders" from disc 103
This gives Space Invader type sounds when played in BeebEm but on my real beeb with datacentre, the sounds are all wrong.
Can this be fixed? [-o<
FIXED!

Hi,
Is anyone up to the challenge of finding out why "Shapes Game" on disc 73 works OK on a beeb but has graphics corruption on BeebEm?
This is the last Beebem problem game....

Sutty... are you there! :D

Hi, Lee.

What exactly do you see? It looks OK on Beebem on a Mac (compared to how I remember it from BITD)?
Shapes MODE 7 game running on Beebem Mac
Shapes MODE 7 game running on Beebem Mac
Beebem's MODE 7 support isn't 100%:

So might be related to that?
