Beebem Sound problems with Windows 10

Hi there,
I have updated my main workaday PC to windows 10.
I have installed Beebem and found that there is no sound.
I have had a mess with the obvious settings on the Sound/Sound Streamer menu, but neither give any sound output. (In fact, it always defaults to Direct sound and won't 'stick' on XAudio2.
Has anyone else experienced this? or preferably solved it

fwiw I'm running Win 10/BeebEm and it works ok for me.

OK after a bit of messing, I have it sorted (almost)!
It was (is) driver or config related.

I uninstalled my sound drivers and re-installed.
I then re-configured to suit my sound setup, although it still isn't quite right. It won't let me pick the setup that resembles mine for some reason???
As I have a high quality expernal sound card, I have messed with that too, and got sound from BeebEm , albeit from 2 unexpected channels

Anyway, it works I just have to turn up a different fader
