So, in 1986 there were 300,000 Electrons compared to 500,000 Beebs out there. I wonder where those figures came from. :-k

To save others the effort, I went through Electron User and noted news articles where sales figures were mentioned...

According to this page, you had to write to Superior Software to get it. Colin, did you write in for it?

I can easily imagine that they may have been handed out at shows. After all, once you've done a print run, there's no point in sitting on a huge pile of leaflets waiting for a double-digit number of people to write and request one each.

I think I had one. I never went to a show, so it must have come in the post. Latterly, I bought several games from the Impact Games Club, and I think they might have sent it.
