Re: ! ! 3 1/2" PC Drive/s on a beeb ! !

The 256/512 byte sector basically halves the capa...

Re: ! ! 3 1/2" PC Drive/s on a beeb ! !

As you've got a Master then it has the newer disk interface and should work with that drive. Again cable should be fine, just follow the advice in the first post in the thread. Harder bit is powering the drive. You'll need to connect from external source or make a cable up from the Beeb, not always ...

Re: Teaching programming using Beebem

How's this going ? Still got you're classes going ? It's been quite topical in education over the last couple of months that ICT is killing British programming talent, with the likes of Google bosses and the David Braben weighing in. Somewhere along the line (possibly due to lack of skilled teaching...

Re: help need on sprites strykers run and droid

If all else fails, screenshots from the working program in the emulator, make sure any anti-aliasing or graphics smoothing options are off otherwise they'll be no goo when imported into a paint package. I've used this technique a few times on different platforms not just beeb, although it can be a b...

Re: Lion's video game reviews: 2011 edition

Great stuff :) I do remember the first version as a kid and that my Dad tried to modify the program (presumably to add more words to the dictionary) and then tried to SAVE it over the top of the original program. Schoolboy error! It never loaded again. Was that a cassette version ? I'm guessing you ...
