Re: 30th Anniversary BBC and Electron Collection

Just re-posted Disc005 in Section 1 as I have finally been able to get a version of Demolator to work from disc that keeps all original options. This was one of those games that had some sort of interupt routine which allowed the main game to load from tape whilst still displaying the instructions a...

Re: 30th Anniversary BBC and Electron Collection

Hi all, After going through Simon's disc collection that he posted on here, I have found some MIA instructions for 3 simulation games. These instructions are not the full inlay, but just the keys, but now allow us to properly play these games. So I have re-posted the following discs. Disc 064 in Sec...

Re: 30th Anniversary BBC and Electron Collection

Just re-posted Disc003 in Section 1 again. This time I have been able to correct the spelling mistake in Uncle Claude to say "PRESS SPACE TO CONTINUE" instead of "CONTIUE". I have also amended my version of ELECTRO FREDDY on AltD001 as this also featured this mistake. Hopefully, ...

Re: High Score Challenge - S22 - Round 9 - Uncle Claude

Hi all, Taken another look at Claude. I believe there is a redundant byte of info at &2D77 (if you load CLAUDE2 at &1900). Therefore I have saved the text from &2D78 onwards and reloaded it at &2D77 and inserted the missing N from CONTINUE and now you get PRESS SPACE TO CONTINUE. If ...

Re: High Score Challenge - S22 - Round 9 - Uncle Claude

Hi all,
Glad Uncle Claude is now finally fixed and playable after 40 years.
BTW The version on the Fistful Of Fun compilation (also by Alligata) is also bugged in the same way too, so only the original version from Softspot was released in a playable version.

Have fun!

Re: 30th Anniversary BBC and Electron Collection

Just re-posted Disc003 in Section 1. Thanks to forum members playing Uncle Claude, a error in the code was detected which caused screen corruption during level 11 meaning the game was not playable and it looks like it was released this way. Luckily, the code in the earlier version of the game called...

Hi,
Yes, I can also confirm that the G2 file from Superior should have &1050 instead of &0DFF.
I will correct that asap. This only affects the SAM 7 copy and not the original.

Re: High Score Challenge - S22 - Round 9 - Uncle Claude

This is one of the main reasons for people play testing ALL BBC games on this forum, so we can come across little errors in the games that either the buying public never found (possibly because they never played the game to the point that an error popped up) or because the software house didn't do t...

Re: More Boulder Dash!

Hi,
Just wondering if it would be possible to create a BoulderDash II game by using this editor.
Was wondering if any of the Spectrum screens could be ported over or re-created using this editor.
Not sure if there are extra characters in that game though? and if so, can they also be re-created?
