Is there any way to attach a disk drive controller to an Electron without a Plus 1 or Plus 3? I'd like to use my Beeb disk drive but I don't have any of the system expansions, which can be quite expensive. Is there a cheaper option? I've noticed another issue with the game:
I haven't seen a single asteroid in the multiple hours I've played!
I played the Electron version for a few minutes today and I saw about 4 asteroids. Is there a problem with the Beeb version? If so, is there a patched disk image of some kind?

Once I receive my copy of Elite for the Electron, I can scan the keystrip and send it to you. Are you still looking for it?

Yeah, the PSU includes over voltage protection on the +5V output as duikkie says. If this activates, the PSU will go into a protection mode with all output voltages falling to zero. Thanks, I'll most likely use that for the label; although, there must have been a few different versions of the label for this game. My copy had an illustrated design/logo and a different font of text.
