Firstly, apologies if you've arrived here expecting a satanic rock music page or some devil worship site. Stairway To Hell is a web site dedicated to preserving the software that was released for the Acorn range of 8-bit home computers, namely the BBC Micro series and the Acorn Electron.

"Stairway To Hell" was a game released for these machines and is, quite frankly, a far more appealing name for a website than "Dave's BBC Page" or something like that ... so there you have it.

The Software section features huge archives of BBC & Electron games to download - all of which have been adapted for use with emulators such as Model B, BeebEm & B-Em [BBC] or ElectrEm & Elkulator [Electron] which, you guessed it, means you'll be able to play all your old favourites on your swish new PC!
